Market Crash of 8/11/05 - Guild Wars Forums

I dont know what happened but the Rune Trader reset to 100g each for all Runes. Yes ALL runes were 100g. So glad a guild mate pulled me out of pvp Comp Arena to get in on the fun. Superior Asorbtion was @ 23k by the time i got to it so i immediatly bought 6, then sold to the trader later at 75k. Ecto, saphires and rubies also dropped so i took the money i made off the runes and immediately invested in rare materials and black dye, wich sold at 6k each.
After filling up a character on superior runes and breaking my bank account, i can only hope the prices will return to normal.

So, what happened today and why ? I only wish i was able to hit the Rune trader when they were all 100. There are some Very happy guild wars players with enough gold to start their own expansion.

There was an update that now pools all merchants across all regions. America, Europe and Korea all have the same prices now, supposedly.

This is insane, what happen?!
Must be a bug, ArenaNet and NC didnt do this on purpose heh? :S

OK thanks, cause i thought updates were only on wednesdays. I dont read the GW webpage everyday. This update must have been for the Koreans who buy on one server and sell on another. Well that sounds fair since im not bi-lingual.
